Oral Surgery and Implant Dentist

Dr Yuqiao Liu is an alumnus of University College London (UCL) and received his dental training from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

With a clinical practice limited to oral surgery and placing implants, Dr Liu spent 3 years completing the clinical training for a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Oral Surgery, and another 3 years completing the clinical training for a Master-level Diploma in Dental Implantology.

His clinical expertise encompasses oral surgeries, including the surgical removal of complex impacted wisdom teeth and cyst enucleations. He manages surgical complications, with clinical experience in repairing oroantral communications (OAC), guided bone regeneration (GBR), and the post-operative rehabilitative management of nerve injuries. In implant dentistry, he provides a broad range of treatments, including immediate implants, sinus lifts, and full-arch rehabilitation. Dr Liu is passionate about digital dentistry and personally designs custom 3D surgical guides for his implant cases to maximize clinical accuracy, increase success rates, and ensure a comfortable, minimally invasive experience for his patients.

Along with clinical practice, Dr Liu’s research focuses on minimizing risks and reducing post-operative pain in sinus lift procedures. Combined with his elite academic foundation, his dedication to evidence-based, patient-centered techniques ensures top-tier, comfortable surgical care for both routine and complex cases.
